What is learning choices?
‘Learning Choices’ is the term used to capture the range of alternative programs and learning environments where young people can thrive and learn whatever their abilities, backgrounds or personal circumstances. Learning Choices embraces both integrated approaches within the mainstream and others that directly challenge mainstream practice. Next Generation is up and running in 2007 at the University of the Sunshine Coast (Qld) and students at UWS (Penrith) are currently making their selection for their Professional Experience 3 program. Both universities are committed to community engagement and developing their secondary teacher training program through the Learning Choices>>Next Generation project.
